Hey guys!!!

I’ve had a lot of trouble getting the motivation to do art lately. It sucks!! But you know what motivates me? Money!!

I’ve never gotten a lot of interest in commissions, but I thought I’d try anyway since I really want to get back into the swing of drawing all the time. I’m gonna keep it simple: You can pay me $40 for a drawing equivalent to my fancy packing slips (the image on top), or $15 for a simple drawing like on the bottom. Shipping’s included! These drawings will be colored with copic marker on card stock, about the same size as a Fangamer packing slip, probably a bit bigger (so about 4”x5”).

The examples are all fanart, but that’s just because they’re Fangamer packing slips; I’d love to draw original characters. I’ll draw fanart, but only if it’s something I like (so, basically, video games. No webcomic fanart please, unless it’s your own comic). I’m pretty open to most themes, so if you want your naked fursona, well, who am I to judge?

I’m currently putting together a micro-mini of “rolling on the floor” abbreviations to go with the next issue of Snackies, scheduled to come out at SPX.

CN is pretty cool that they give the opportunity to all the interns to pitch anything they like so we can get feedback from the studio!

 

Here are some drawings from my pitch….Wish I made more, because I have a lot of ideas in my head for it. If I can get my act together I will try to expand on it some more and maybe make a comic or something…

The characters are based on the monster kids designs I had done . The idea is a study abroad program for Monster Children to have the educational opportunity to study a human world. However, the program is very underground; Instead of having to know a foreign language to be accepted, they have to be able to disguise themselves to blend in as humans.

It’s been a huge huge honor to be able to work at CN this semester! Such amazing people work there! Thanks to all y’all who came to my pitch!

With all that’s going on in the world right now, especially with the bombings in Boston, it’s easy to get wrapped up in the sadness and to convince yourself that the world is nothing but hate. But that’s wrong. In times of trouble humanity proves itself to be more caring and loving than anything. We pick each other up when we fall and hold out a helping hand where we can. People are good. Sometimes we just need a reminder.
